About THE FOUNDER
Hello!
I’m Rebecca Coon,
founder of Live Aligned.
I’m passionate about helping purpose-driven, emotionally attuned individuals—often creative, science-inspired, and open-minded thinkers—align their inner world with their outer life. My mission is to support people in creating meaningful, fulfilling lives where they can contribute their unique gifts to the world without compromising a sense of purpose or burning out.
My personal journey has taken me through many different landscapes—art, science, yogic mindfulness, nature-based spirituality, and emotional healing—all of which have shaped how I see the world and my place in it.
My Professional Journey
My professional journey is rooted in developing complex, cross-disciplinary projects—blending creativity, collaboration, and natural science in museum exhibits, educational programs, and personal development initiatives.
Designing Museum Visitor Experiences & Leading Creative Collaborations
For 8 years as the Exhibit and Education Program Developer at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, I spearheaded exhibits like Becoming Butterflies and Curious Connections in Nature (focused on symbiosis). I created community education programs including The Living Land outreach programs at Mesa Verde National Park, and Family Fun Days. I produced and co-hosted Museum Unlocked, a podcast featuring museum curators and their diverse career journeys. I also created the CHANGE Collective, a program for college students to mindfully engage in self-discovery, professional development, and co-creative community events like the “Sustainable Futures Fest.”
Education Program Development & Teaching
With a Master's of Science in Museum Studies and B.A. in Studio Art, education and teaching have been central to my work—I’ve taught graduate seminars like Technology and the Future of Museums and Visitor Experience Design, along with undergraduate art classes. At Denver Zoo, I developed multi-disciplinary curricula, co-led a field trip pilot program for educators, and applied audience research to guide strategic initiatives.
Professional Presentations
I’ve presented at the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meetings and MuseumCamp on topics ranging from School-Museum Partnerships to Cultivating Collective Wisdom and Healing My Heart.
Art, Technology, and Community Engagement I’ve also supported art and technology collaborations, working with robotic engineers, educators, and artists to create interactive, community art experiences.
Event Facilitation & Personal Ceremonies
Facilitating events has played a major role in my life and career, from leading community yoga classes, to coordinating high school reunions, or leading showcases like Students' Stories of Impact, where college students shared personal narratives of self-discovery. I’ve officiated personal ceremonies like weddings, memorials, and vow renewals, designing immersive experiences that honor the emotional depth of our human experience–making space for sorrow, joy, and laughter.
My 15 years of experience at the intersections of natural science, community co-creation, education, and personal growth have taught me that:
Creativity, collabration, and nature-inspired mindfulness can foster
self-discovery and guide us to offer meaningful contributions to the world
Partially Fulfilled, Yet Misaligned
Despite the fulfillment I found in these purposeful roles, I often felt misaligned—burnt out, struggling for balance, and disconnected from my soulful essence.
I longed to feel whole and at home in myself while thriving in my relationships and career.
Realizing that I had abandoned pieces of myself I loved most, I returned to introspective practices like journaling, art-making, yoga, and nature-inspired meditation.
I yearned for a framework that integrated creative expression, the wisdom of nature, scientific thinking, and an open-minded reverence for life's mysteries...
...a framework that embraced the emotional vulnerability and resilience needed to be true to ourselves, even when faced with conflict, grief, and hardship.
Navigating Life's Complexities
As a mother, partner, creative being, professional, and as a sensitive human navigating burnout, healing from trauma, learning to set healthy boundaries, and grieving loved ones lost to tragedy, I’ve learned firsthand that–
Life is intricately beautiful, unavoidably messy, and often painful.
Navigating the joys and challenges of life has taught me the power of embracing not just our gifts, but also our imperfections.
This insight informs my coaching philosophy:
true fulfillment comes from being compassionate and real with ourselves, honoring our inner gifts, and rooting ourselves in our values.
When we navigate life with a compass aligned to what feels true and meaningful, we cultivate clarity, resilience, and balance, allowing us to craft a meaningful life while making a difference in ways that only we can.
I believe that by embracing creativity, curiosity, a nature-inspired reverence for life, and strategic practicality, we can better navigate life’s complexities and discover innovative solutions to the challenges we face—personally and collectively.
Honoring Life's Interconnectedness
At the core of my work is a deep belief in the biological magic of life—
the awe-inspiring interconnectedness that binds us to nature, each other, and past and future generations
While it may be healthier to not try to "save the world," I believe that by honoring our authentic selves and the rich complexity of life around us, we not only align our own lives, but we just might help create a future worth living in—for both human and non-human future generations of life here on Earth.
Finding Balance in Life's Small Joys
These days, while navigating the beautiful chaos of mom life with two little ones, I find balance by savoring life’s small joys: painting with my kids, searching for bugs in the garden, family nature walks, and mapping out my creative visions.
As a mother, partner, and vision weaver, I’ve come to see that the magic and beauty of life are always present, even in the messiest and most painful moments.
MY goal is to help others embrace the beauty and the mess so they can cultivate balance and awe–
within themselves and the world around them.

ABOUT
LIVe aligned
At Live Aligned, our mission is to
help emotionally attuned, purpose-driven individuals align their inner world
with their outer life
by blending nature’s wisdom, creative exploration, and practical strategies.
We provide a supportive space for those seeking clarity, balance, and personal growth to reconnect with their authentic selves, navigate life’s transitions, and live in alignment with their deepest values.

Bridging Nature and Creative Exploration
In my 15 years as a museum professional, I thrived on blending biology, art, and education to create natural science exhibits and collaborative education programs. I worked with college students and professional teams, guiding them through design thinking, creative exploration, collaborative problem-solving, mindful self-reflection, and career alignment.
Yet, while I was supporting others to grow, I realized that I was becoming burnt out and disconnected from my own soulful essence. I wasn’t honoring the deepest pieces of myself. I longed for a personal growth framework that integrated nature, creativity, and agnostic spirituality—one that embraced self-discovery, emotional resilience, and practical alignment without the constraints of a dogmatic or prescriptive approach to spirituality.
The Birth of Live Aligned
Unable to find the framework I longed for, I created Live Aligned—a space for
sensitive-hearted, purpose-driven individuals to explore their own path toward life alignment
and reconnect with parts of themselves that have been neglected.
My approach blends nature-inspired wisdom, creative visioning, and strategic practicality–designed to help you align your outer life with your inner essence, harmonizing your personal and professional worlds.
I draw on insights from project management, co-creative development, curriculum design, and habit formation, along with creative tools like visual metaphors, multi-sensory experiential learning, and strategic thinking, to help you bring clarity, balance, and direction to your life.

Reconnecting with Your Authentic Self
Whether you’re navigating a life transition, seeking career clarity, seeking life balance, or rediscovering your sense of self, Live Aligned offers a holistic, nature-inspired approach to cultivating a meaningful, balanced life.
Through our work, I guide you in:
Finding your way home to a rooted sense of self, making courageous shifts and radiating your unique gifts into the world.
At the heart of Live Aligned is the belief that true fulfillment comes from honoring both the beauty, the mess, and the mysteries of life. With a curiosity-driven, exploratory approach, we cultivate reverence for the biological magic of life—the interconnectedness that binds us to nature, each other, and future generations.
By reconnecting with your authentic self, engaging in a supportive community of shared wisdom and diverse perspectives, and embracing life’s complexities, we can create lives that are as joyful as they are grounded—lives that are as personally meaningful as they are outwardly impactful.
Thriving in Alignment
When we “live aligned,” it’s not just about achievement—it’s about becoming deeply rooted in who you are, so you can thrive in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.
I invite you to meet yourself with compassion, embrace your gifts, and embark on a journey of life alignment that honors not just what you do but who you are at your core—
because you deserve to shine your light freely,
and the world deserves to see what you illuminate.
